It´s an easy task through Central Administration.
You can go to Backup and Restore and select Export a Site or List... It´s quite simple and you just have to follow the wizard...
But....
If you wanna do it through Powershell (PS) you can face an annoying error... like this:
"Export-SPWeb : The URL provided is invalid. Only valid URLs that are site collections or sites are allowed to be exported using stsadm.exe"
After google it, I found that it is really weird... some times your sintax must have the forward slash and some times not... Like this:
export-spweb http://srv01.lab/sites/site01 -ItemUrl “Lists/list01″ -path C:\list1.cmp”
Look on this second case, if I remove the "/" on -itemUrl parameter, surelly I'll receive an error message like that mentioned above...
export-spweb http://srv01.lab/sites/site02 -ItemUrl “/Lists/list01″ -path "C:\list1.cmp”
Tks,
Peluffo
